AlterMidya is a nonprofit organization that promotes journalism for the people. Our commitment is to harness the strength of independent, progressive media groups & individuals and work closely with communities and people’s organizations to serve as a channel to promote independent analysis on national and regional issues.

For us to better serve the public through progressive journalism, we are in need of computers and monitors to use for our workstations for our producers, staff, and interns. We are in need of laptops and work stations, preferably computers that can handle video editing and animation applications.
We are always in need of donated equipment to produce our programs and online content and distribute them to communities. Every piece of equipment from cameras to microphones goes a long way. Below are some of the equipment that we are always looking for:
- DSLR or Mirrorless cameras
- Microphones (lapel, wireless, shotgun mics, podcasting mics)
- Fluid pan-head tripods
- Audio recorders
- Studio monitors (speakers)
- Studio headphones
- LED lights (studio, portable)
- Light stands
- Teleprompter
- Flat-Panel LCD Monitor
- Hard drives (1TB and up)
- Mojo kits
- Licensed softwares (Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, etc)
- Projectors
- Portable projector screen
- Bluetooth speakers
