Various groups converged in Plaza Miranda in Quiapo, Manila earlier today to mount a protest that coincided with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s inauguration.
The groups highlighted their demand for the new administration to immediately act on rising prices, the unstable economy, and worsening labor and agricultural conditions.
The groups also pressed the new administration to stop human rights abuses, which have been regular fixtures in the preceding administration.
